Professional Development: Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data analytics, system design, and software development. About the Schedule Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The business intelligence engineer position is involved in on-call technical support 24/7/365, with a mandatory personal cell phone required, per Administrative Directive 9.05. As a reminder, all county employees are considered essential and must be prepared to protect and support the community and its citizens. Each employee, without exception, will have a duty assignment and be required to work during a disaster or declared emergency. About You To be considered for this role, you must have the following: Minimum of a 4-year degree with 2+ years of related experience. OR: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a specific field of endeavor, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration with 2+ years of related experience. OR: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with 1+ years of related experience. OR: 6+ years of related experience may substitute for formal education at the discretion of management. Valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
