Systems Engineer

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or other technical field (e.g. mechanical, electrical, systems, etc.)
• Experience: 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience working on development programs for large, complex, integrated systems - preferably from the fusion, aerospace, or space and defense industry
• Proficiency in executing at least two of the following SE activities:
• Requirements Development; Architectural Design; Interface Management; V&V; System Analysis; Risk Management; Configuration Management
• Experience with systems engineering tools (Jira, Confluence, Flow, Teamcenter)
• Great communication skills, ability to work effectively in teams, demonstrated execution and coordination skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum.

As a Systems Engineer, you will apply your skills to define requirements, execute architectural design analyses, manage complex system interfaces, and lead verification and validation on fusion energy systems. Your activities will span risk management, configuration and data management, integrated test planning, technical performance measurement management, and lifecycle baseline management.
