Apartment Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Turnovers/make-readies
• Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
• Preventative maintenance
• Handle emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Personal, insured mode of transportation
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases

Job Summary Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking one Maintenance Technician to join the team that takes care of 4 properties. Two properties are in Shaker Heights , and two are in Edgewater . Boiler experience would be helpful. Pay and Benefits $23-26/hour, paid weekly Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an on-call rotation Medical, dental, vision, and life benefits with employer contribution Paid time off, paid holidays, and sick time 401(k) match Professional development reimbursement Discounted rent at Birgo properties
