Obstetricians/Gynecologists

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. and current valid license
• Minimum of two years relevant professional experience post Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
• At least six months of clinical practice within the last two years
• Significant experience in emergency surgeries and with complicated deliveries
• Ability to work autonomously with limited materials and resources
• Experience in emergency obstetric care, Cesarean sections, assisted deliveries, hysterectomies
• Experience in managing staff in a multicultural team (supervision and training)
• Relevant travel or work experience in contexts similar to where MSF works (armed conflicts, disasters, public health emergencies, or situations of healthcare exclusion)
• Available to work a minimum of 12 week international assignments
• Assets
• HIV, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, management of sexually transmitted infections, management of care for survivors of sexual assault
• Knowledge of French or another language (Arabic, Spanish)
• Course in tropical medicine and/or infectious diseases
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
