About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MATERIAL READINESS CELL (MRC) DIVISION, SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing work schedules, materials, and technical work instructions to accomplish projects. Experience recommending changes to senior management on matters related to organization, function, responsibility, and authority on programs, policy information, and long-range planning. Experience applying analytical skills to identify specific problems, evaluate lessons learned, and identify new methods of work. Experience assessing performance data, forecasting long-range performance issues, devising practical solutions, and continually improving methods. Experience communicating appropriately, effectively, persuasively, and diplomatically both orally and in writing to make clear, concise presentations and written reports.
