System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze deposits business requirements and translate them into functional integration requirements across channels, payments, general ledger, reporting, regulatory, and downstream systems.
• Identify gaps in business requirements and work with stakeholders to define integration requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and platform teams to ensure integration designs align with target-state architecture and deposits processing rules.
• Perform interface-level fit-gap analysis against the core banking platform and existing systems, identifying gaps, constraints, and required design decisions.
• Ensure non-functional integration requirements, including performance, resiliency, security, auditability, and recoverability, are captured.
• Support integration solution design workshops with internal teams and the core banking vendor.
• Manage and maintain integration requirement baselines, including change impact assessments across interfacing systems.
• Coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and support end-to-end testing activities.
• Develop test cases, test plans, and test data based on business requirements.
• Review and validate integration test scenarios and results to ensure alignment with business rules and expected processing outcomes.
• Administer test execution and result reporting in compliance with IT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain testing documentation, including test cases, test plans, and reports.
• Report defects and collaborate with business and IT teams to develop solutions.
• Ensure integration designs and deliverables support operational readiness, including monitoring, exception handling, and support processes.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role with exposure to system integrations in large-scale banking or financial services programs.
• Proven experience delivering core banking or deposits-related integrations, including CASA and/or Time Deposit products.
• Hands-on experience with system-to-system integrations, including APIs, batch/file-based interfaces, and event-driven processing.
• Experience participating in at least three end-to-end projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects is preferred.
• Understanding of financial services processes, products, and integration patterns.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear, structured functional integration specifications.
• Strong analytical skills to assess end-to-end impacts and dependencies across interfacing systems.
• Effective communication skills to work with business users, architects, developers, vendors, and testing teams.
• Ability to manage requirement changes and integration impacts in a structured and controlled manner.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience producing interface specifications, data mappings, and integration artifacts.
• Must-have: Core Banking, System-to-System Integrations.
• Good-to-have: Deposits-related Integrations.

Additional Information

The Systems Analyst is responsible for defining and validating the functional aspects of integrations between the Deposits Management System (DMS) and internal banking platforms and channels. The role translates business requirements into clear, testable functional specifications, supports integration solution design, and coordinates end-to-end integration delivery, testing, and deployment for CASA and Time Deposit products.
