Field Engineer (Transmission & FBB Operations)

About the role

This role focuses on assisting your team members in deploying, implementing, and maintaining transmission network equipment. The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): - Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain transmissionnetwork equipment and fibre broadband systems - Install and configure network devices and relatedservices - Perform routine and corrective maintenance toensure optimal network performance - Diagnose and resolve network faults in a timelymanner - Support project implementation and dailyoperational activities - Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internalteams - Provide both onsite and remote technical support - Assist stakeholders with ad hoc technical requests - Participate in scheduled night work and 24/7standby rotation when required The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role: - Basicunderstanding of telecommunication systems - Familiarity withconsumer and enterprise networking equipment is an advantage - Fibre opticsexperience is highly preferred - Strongproblem-solving skills with a hands-on approach - Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills - Responsible,responsive, and able to work independently as well as in a team - Willingness to learn and grow within the organization - Class 3 driving license is preferred - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
