Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end HR transactional processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, position changes, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, terminations and rehiring).
  • Accurately maintain HR data in Workday, ensuring entries are timely and compliant with policy and local legislation.
  • Manage inbox tasks, validations and bulk uploads while maintaining data integrity and audit readiness.

  • Process payroll-related inputs and partner with Payroll to resolve queries and reconcile system data with payroll as required.

  • Maintain and update knowledge articles and local documentation to support consistent service delivery, contributing to standardisation and automation initiatives.
  • Support HR reporting and analytics: prepare regular metrics and ad-hoc reports for HR leadership and business partners.
  • Prepare, review, and submit mandatory employment-related notifications and updates through Greek labor administration systems, including ERGANI and TAYFE , ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Support employment registrations, contract amendments, organizational changes, work schedule, leave reporting, terminations, and other legally required submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Maintain HR records to meet internal controls and local legal requirements.
  • Support change and implementation projects (system upgrades, rollouts), including testing, training materials and communication to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, local employment law and data protection requirements (GDPR/equivalent).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve transactional and system-related issues.
  • Basic Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Initial experience in HR operations / People Services (ideally 1-3 years; entry-level experience will also be considered).
  • Fluency in Greek and English (spoken and written).
  • Basic understanding of Greek labor law and employment practices (not requiring advanced/legal expertise).
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow or other case management tools) and MS Office (Excel knowledge preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Greek local HR systems (e.g. ERGANI, TAYFE).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Good understanding of HR lifecycle processes and payroll/benefits fundamentals.
