Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define solution requirements.
• Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and user stories.
• Support solution design, requirement validation, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work closely with development, testing, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews.
• Support regional or multi-location implementation projects and ensure successful solution delivery.
• Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following: Wealth Management / Private Banking Credit & Lending Investments / Capital Markets Digital Banking
• Experience working with banking and investment platforms such as: Avaloq Hands-on experience in Agile, Scrum, or iterative delivery environments.
• Minimum Requirements
• Candidates must have either: Banking or Wealth Management business experience, or Functional and/or technical experience with Avaloq.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments.
• Strong documentation and requirement management skills.
