Analyst - Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of capital raising and advisory mandates in the maritime and offshore industries.
• Assist with and maintain financial models to support valuation, structuring, and transaction analysis.
• Support the preparation of pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, and other transaction materials .
• Conduct industry, company, and transaction research in shipping, oil & gas, transportation, and related sectors.
• Support due diligence processes, liaising with internal and external advisors.
• Assist with client meetings, investor presentations, and internal reporting.
• Support day-to-day deal execution workstreams.
• Execute sections of due diligence and coordinate with legal, technical, and commercial advisors.

Requirements

• Candidate Requirements
• Analyst (1-3 years' experience):
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in investment banking, merchant banking, or investment management, ideally with exposure to shipping, oil & gas, or transportation.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Greek (native).
• Ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

The successful candidates will support the origination and execution of transactions across debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, working closely with senior bankers and gaining exposure to high-profile international deals in the shipping and offshore sectors.
