Additional Information

Build the ML-powered measurement systems that help advertisers understand the true value of their ad spend - processing over 50 billion events per day to deliver attribution metrics that directly inform billions of dollars in advertiser decisions. If you're energized by large-scale data challenges, privacy-forward ML, and work that has immediate, measurable business impact, this is it. The Modeled Attribution team operates one of the largest big data analytics systems at Amazon, using AWS services (EMR with Spark, SageMaker, Kinesis, ECS) to accurately attribute conversions and predict the long-term impact of advertising on customer behavior. As privacy regulations tighten and deterministic identity signals become increasingly limited, we leverage advanced modeling techniques to maintain measurement accuracy - even when direct user-level tracking is unavailable. We are constantly inventing new ways to improve accuracy, expand coverage to new ad surfaces, and stay ahead of our growing scale, all while maintaining full privacy compliance. It is always Day 1 for us. Key job responsibilities - Design and build next-generation modeling capabilities in partnership with technical leaders - Own and operate business-critical systems end-to-end at massive scale - processing petabytes of data daily - Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define, develop, and launch highly-requested advertiser features directly to customers - Work with petabyte-scale datasets to answer complex advertiser and product questions that drive measurement improvements - Collaborate cross-functionally with SDEs, scientists, program managers, and product managers to deliver results across the full stack
