GNC Engineering Intern (Controls) - Fall 2026

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong background in controls, dynamics, and feedback systems
• Experience with control system modeling and simulation
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or similar tools used for controls development
• Strong understanding of engineering first principles
• Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• GPA of 3.0 or above

As a GNC Engineering Intern, you will support the development of guidance, navigation, and control systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. This role focuses heavily on controls development, algorithm implementation, and testing. Summer: Around 12 weeks (May - August) Fall: Around 16 weeks (August - December) U.S. EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE STATUS The person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a "U.S. person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
