Position Title: Pediatric Imaging Student Tech PRN Department: Pediatric Radiology Job Description: Ask your recruiter about our new market-leading rates! **PRN POSITIONS REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 2 SHIFTS/MONTH** General Description: While enrolled in school, the Imaging Student performs imaging/radiologic services within the student scope of practice. This position provides students the opportunity to work in real-life situations while earning their degree. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation, may result in disqualification from the position. Under direct supervision from a preceptor, provider or instructor, gains exposure to multiple disciplines within Imaging such as x-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. Assists in performing diagnostic imaging services using techniques learned in school and within imaging department. Prepares patients for testing with an emphasis on providing excellent patient experiences. Ensures that equipment and testing spaces are clean, welcoming and free of clutter. Learns how to transfer images and data to the appropriate electronic health system. Assists with performing quality control checks, cleaning and disinfecting equipment per manufacturer standards. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned.
