Responsibilities

  • Frontline Competency Development
  • Build and develop competencies for the frontline sales force, including: Retail Territory Managers, Enterprise Sales Managers

  • Conduct onsite pre and post RITC assessments to evaluate retailer readiness, operational capability and support requirements
  • Assess operational and financial management gaps following induction and implement development support plans where required
  • Support Retailers through onboarding to ensure effective integration into the business
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness, retailer progress and competency development outcomes
  • Manage and evaluate Subject Matter Experts facilitating on the programme
  • Manage training requirements for new business-related projects
  • Manage and support online Retailer engagement sessions
  • Retailer Incubation
  • Manage the Retailer Incubation Programme for new to Industry Retailers
  • Provide specialist support in: Operational standards, Financial Management, Retail business performance improvement
  • Conduct support visits, operational reviews, mentoring sessions and performance assessments
  • Support Retailers with action planning and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational compliance and business sustainability
  • Conduct quarterly retailer assessments to monitor operational standards, competency development and performance improvement
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching support to Retailers within the incubation programme.
  • Identify key mentoring sites to provide learning support and best practice
  • Training Content Development & Standardisation
  • Design, develop and maintain learning content aligned to operational SOP's, business standards and operational requirements
  • Develop and maintain: Learner guides, facilitator guides, SOP based training material, Assessment tools, Presentations, Digital Learning Content
  • Align with Subject Matter experts to ensure all content is current, accurate, compliant, and standardized across the retail business
  • Continuously review and update training material in line with operational changes and new business initiatives
  • Retail Communication Support
  • Support and co-ordinate Retail Communications
  • Ensure communication content is aligned, standardized and brand compliant
  • Qualifications and Certifications
  • Matric
  • T ertiary Qualification preferably BCom, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR; ODETDP
  • Suitably qualified candidates with substantial retail service station experience
  • Certified trainer will be preferred
