The Business Controls Function (BCF) is a key contributor to the Company's overall enterprise risk management strategy. The BCF is a global organization with resources based around the World. The BCF Leadership Team and many BCF team members are based in Princeton, NJ. The BCF is a "second line" risk management function (in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors' "three lines" concept), reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, and partnering with Finance, business operations, functional leads and senior management throughout the Company. The BCF SOX control Manager will play a pivotal role by partnering with the Process Control Advisors ( PCA's) to ensure a compliant SOX operation. The SOX Internal Controls Manager will represent BCF as a subject matter expert in SOX controls for the assigned cycles. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial controls/SOX/Internal Audit is required. The position will be based in the BMS's Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person). Roles & Responsibilities: Define and implement best in class SOX compliance practices Partner with PCA's and other business stakeholders to help reinforce control integrity and best practises for executing SOX program for the assigned cycles in a compliant manner Assist in Annual Corporate Fraud Risk Assessment Assist in annual SOX scoping and risk assessment Assist in Internal Control Standards (ICS) framework update & review of test plans (annually & ad-hoc) Assist in evaluating & managing deficiencies for control design and operating effectiveness (annually & quarterly) Perform segregation of duties (SoD) risk assessment reviews (quarterly/annually/ad-hoc) Conduct initial review of testing queries and escalate issues to PCA teams as needed Perform review of SOC reports Execute non-key controls SOX testing and SOX Testing Quality Reviews (STQR) for assigned cycles Perform review of Service Now tickets and other issue management tools Foster strong collaboration and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including the PCA Proven and effective strong communication skills with an established solution-oriented approach Qualification: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree or CA / CPA preferred.
