Shipper/Receiver-2

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a sit down forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification
• Must be comfortable working outside in the elements
• Communicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety requirements for loading/unloading materials
• Ability to think on your feet in identifying from the pick list where the material is located in the warehouse
• Identifying what needs to be double stacked in the warehouse and on the truck
• Ability to use a company computer and WMS systems
• Guide the truck drivers where they need to go in order to be safely loaded/unloaded
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be legally authorization to work in U.S.
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification class and test
• Must be able to read a pick list
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary, which could include weekends
• Must be able to pass a fit for duty Physical
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
