- Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Public or Health Service Administration or Finance.
- Seven to Ten years' experience in a hospital, including at least five years supervision above the first supervisory level.
- Ability to develop financial management strategies that meet hospital and corporate objectives.
- Knowledge of hospital generally accepted accounting principles, consolidated accounting concepts, implementation of accounting and reporting systems, critical analysis of data and measurement of financial performance.
- Maintain awareness of trends in accounting/financial presentation and governmental third party payor reimbursement policies, standards, and procedures.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors and the hospital staff.
- Ability to effectively present information to executive management and board of directors.
- Experience in organizing and leading teams.
- Knowledge of standard problem solving and management information systems.
- MBA.
- CPA certificate.
