Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will primarily be responsible for:
  • Provide quality checks on digital deliverables, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement with Beca. drawing standards, client and regulatory requirements for both 2D and 3D deliverables.
  • MEP Model Management - troubleshooting issues with models and projects.
  • Mentoring and support BIM team-members.
  • Assist job managers and directors in appropriate BIM strategies and technologies on their projects.
  • Planning and resourcing delivery aspects of projects.
  • Conduct trainings on BIM processes.
  • Key requirements
  • Specialist Diploma in BIM or Degree in Mechanical Engineering recommended.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling and in engineering consulting environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with codes of practice, well-versed with the relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission (Corenet X) and approval procedures.
  • High level of experience in both Revit software and the Autodesk Forma suite of collaboration tool systems are required. Competent user of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Revizto etc. Dynamo or Python development experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, strong ability to organize workload, and prioritization of tasks when required as you will be working with other Beca offices, both to deliver projects and develop resources.
  • Able to communicate well among all stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated, with demonstrated leadership capability and a collaborative mindset
