Quality Control Inspector

About the role

JOB DESCRIPTION Conduct inspection of incoming, in-process and final inspection on machined parts, weldments and assemblies as per technical drawings, customer's specifications and requirements through the use of various types of inspection equipment set up. Perform dimension check on parts, components and tools using micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicator, CMM & CREAFOAM. Perform visual, mechanical and functional check on components. Report non-compliance parts to QA Engineer. Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing components/parts. Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures. Responsible for conducting inspection in accordance with approved technical data. REQUIREMENT GCE 'O' / 'A' Level with minimum 2 year working experience or Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management with minimum 1 year working experience. Good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels. Good understanding of technical drawing. Familiar with all inspection methods and techniques. Basic understanding of General Dimension & Tolerance control. Proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
