Responsibilities

  • Respond to student discipline incidents, working with students, staff, and families

  • Collaborate with the ADSS to review student case files and manage student retention efforts
  • Collaborate with Response to Intervention (RtI) team on behavioral data tracking to provide tiered support for identified students
  • Execute additional duties as needed as a member of the school team (arrival and dismissal support, lunch support, covering classes, etc.)
  • Support daily school operations through classroom coverage and supervision support as needed, including coverage for teacher absences, PTO, and other staffing gaps to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for students

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of two years work experience (required)
  • Experience working as a social worker or working with students who receive special education support (preferred)

POSITION OVERVIEW The Manager of Student Services (MSS) is responsible for supporting student culture and discipline throughout the school. Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Services (ADSS), the MSS will drive behavioral intervention by identifying trends in classrooms, building strong relationships with students and teachers, and partnering with parents to identify student support needs. The MSS will work one-on-one with students to replace negative and disruptive responses into positive actions.
