The Coordinator will be an integral part of a supportive, engaged team that works hard, has fun along the way, and is invested in each other's success. The Coordinator, Legal Talent Management is responsible for executing programming in support of the Legal Talent Management function for lawyers in all US offices. The Coordinator's work supports several of the team's core processes including lateral integration and the lawyer evaluation and promotion process. In addition to those responsibilities, the Coordinator will provide general support for other initiatives under the broad remit of the Legal Talent Management (LTM) team, including, first year integration process, resource management, performance management, legal personnel matters, global mobility and secondment efforts, lawyer policy development and implementation, lawyer committee functions and various lawyer events. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Legal Talent Management. Overtime and some travel may be required to facilitate job responsibilities. This position is ideally located in Houston, Dallas or Austin. The role will require presence in office from time to time. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Communicate effectively and proactively with firm lawyers (partners and lawyers) Work closely with LTM team members to enhance connectivity across the lawyer population Aid in execution of lawyer year-end evaluation and compensation processes Support lawyer development through LTM's integration initiatives Leverage a variety of data sources to create monthly reports, identify trends and update dashboards Provide insights in support of lawyer retention efforts Help facilitate firmwide programming, including local and national events Complete other tasks in support of legal talent function at the firm Please note this job description does not cover or contain all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of professional work experience, preferably at a law firm or other professional services environment In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 6 years of professional work experience, preferably at a law firm or other professional services environment Experience in Microsoft suite required including Excel Experience in Workday a plus Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality and discretion Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills required Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent work product Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; both written and oral Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Interest in working on and in support of a team Confident interacting with all levels of the organization, both legal and administrative Reliable, flexible and a can-do attitude in all situations is essential Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is committed to providing employees with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package that supports you, your health, and your family.
