Salary: $110,000 base + super Reporting to the AIPC Provost, the Course Coordinator - Counselling is responsible for coordinating the delivery and assessment of counselling programs within AIPC's higher education portfolio. This role offers a strong opportunity for an experienced counselling professional to step into an academic leadership pathway, bringing practical industry experience into higher education. Working closely with academic and professional teams, you will support high-quality teaching, student outcomes, and ongoing course improvement while gaining exposure to academic coordination, governance, and curriculum development. You will also have the opportunity to access Associate Fellowship funding to support your professional development. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating the delivery and assessment of counselling programs to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes. Supporting and guiding academic staff, including workload coordination and teaching quality. Ensuring compliance with academic governance, accreditation and regulatory requirements. Contributing to course and subject development, curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives. Supporting student success through engagement, academic support processes and quality assurance activities. Participating in academic planning, reporting and institutional initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum qualification of a Master's degree, with at least 3 years (full-time) relevant experience. Demonstrated teaching ability in relevant fields at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. Eligibility for membership with a relevant professional association Strong stakeholder engagement and academic administration experience * Applicants must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police (AFP) Check.
