- The following is required for this role:
- Education Requirement(s) and/or Equivalent Experience
- University degree (master's preferred); background in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Technical Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the refrigeration industry or related sectors (e.g., components of refrigeration systems).
- Proven experience in international or multinational environments with matrix reporting structures.
- Strong teamwork orientation, especially in multicultural and cross-functional settings.
- Fluent in English and German (both are mandatory); an additional European language is a plus.
- Familiarity with F-Gas regulation and/or ECHA processes, or experience with refrigeration-related standards.

This position will be available preferably in Germany or in Belgium. Other locations can be considered, with hybrid workplaces. This position reports directly to the Head of Regulatory Advocacy and Sustainability. The Thermal and Specialized Solutions (TSS) EMEA Regulatory and Advocacy team leads regional efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of our current and future product portfolio. The Advocacy and Regulatory Technical Manager for TSS Europe supports the development and execution of the EU strategy by actively participating in technical working groups at both EU and national levels (with a strong focus on Germany), and by driving key regulatory and policy initiatives in collaboration with industry partners. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Expected Outcomes Contribute to the development and execution of technical regulatory advocacy strategies aligned with TSS business priorities. Strengthen Chemours' position in EU and EMEA regulatory frameworks, particularly in the refrigeration sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry associations to support TSS's freedom to operate.
