Description of Work The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and medical records support for the Nursing Department in Cluster One. This role balances daily record-keeping and budget monitoring with the flexibility to support other clusters as needed in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Records Management: Maintain and audit medical charts and records for approximately 48 residents within Cluster One.
  • Budget Tracking: Monitor, review, and reconcile the cluster's financial budget.
  • Cross-Cluster Support: Perform daily backup administrative duties in any cluster across the facility as needed.
  • Event Assistance: Help coordinate and support various department activities and special events.

  • Salary Grade Range: $39,244 - $68,679

  • Considerable knowledge of services, policies and procedures related to a program or area ofspecialization.
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply this knowledge in performance of administrative tasks; ability to explain and interpret information to clients/customers and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of office equipment to include but not limited to computers, printers, fax machine, adding machine, multi-line telephone, overhead paging system and a copier.
  • Prior experience with purchasing /procurement, maintaining budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Experience or training in Medical Office Administration.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
