About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support enterprise-scale cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Linux administration, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and production support within highly available enterprise environments. This role will be responsible for cloud provisioning, infrastructure automation, system reliability, platform operations, security compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across production and non-production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments.
  • Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, Auto Scaling Groups, CloudWatch, FSx, EFS, SSM, ELB, and S3.
  • Perform cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, optimization, and cost management.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • DevOps & Automation
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Integrate Git, Bitbucket, Maven, and deployment automation tools.
  • Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, and YAML.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Chef.
  • Improve operational efficiency through infrastructure-as-code and automation initiatives.
  • Containerization & Platform Engineering
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Administer Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration platforms.
  • Support OpenShift and Cloud Foundry (PCF) environments.
  • Manage application deployment, scaling, and monitoring across containerized platforms.
  • Linux & Infrastructure Operations
  • Administer enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS) and Unix platforms.
  • Perform system upgrades, patch management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Support virtualization and server migrations across physical and virtual environments.
  • Maintain system availability, reliability, and operational compliance.
  • Monitoring & Security
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Splunk and CloudWatch.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and performance-related issues.
  • Configure and manage privileged access solutions such as CyberArk.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards, audit requirements, and operational controls.
  • Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead infrastructure implementation and migration projects.
  • Develop SOPs, implementation procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with application, network, security, and business teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Support critical production environments and participate in on-call activities when required.

  • Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
  • Extensive Linux/Unix administration experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD implementation.
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and source code management.
  • Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
  • Experience with Ansible and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Preferred Skills
  • OpenShift administration.
  • VMware and virtualization technologies.
  • Cloud migration experience.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
  • CyberArk administration.
  • Splunk administration and monitoring.
  • Banking or financial services industry experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps engineering experience.
  • AWS certifications preferred.
  • Linux administration certifications are advantageous.
