Responsibilities
- Installs, maintains, and inspects take-off, mainline, and transmission natural gas regulating stations.

- Must be willing and able to meet a 45-minute emergency response time from the geographical center of the Asheville region. Emergency response time is a critical measure for Enbridge Gas North Carolina and candidates are required to consistently meet this requirement, including when on-call.
- Willingness to attend external training to gain needed skills either on personal and/or company time.
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience :
- A minimum of one year of natural gas industry field experience
- Experience using a laptop computer to program electronic corrections and industrial automated meter reading equipment
- An understanding of gas measurement and regulating equipment
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish)
- A two-year technical degree or related certification(s) is preferred.
- Licenses, Certifications, or Qualification Description
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required.
- A Medical Examiner's Certificate (also known as DOT medical card) is required.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
- Working Conditions
- Work is performed outside in varying weather conditions (i.e. cold, heat, rain, etc.) and requires routine use of proper PPE including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, FR clothing, and work boots per company policies.
- Position requires continuous travel throughout the service territory with frequent stops, entering/exiting the company vehicle, safely parking in a wide variety of situations, and driving in construction zones.
