Responsibilities

- Experience / Competences:
- Essential
- Experienced DBA with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
- Proven expertise in managing Oracle databases, including versions 23ai and 19c.
- Demonstrated success in managing MS SQL databases, including SQL Server 2022 and 2019.
- Strong knowledge of database clustering technologies, such as Oracle RAC and SQL Server AlwaysOn.
- Extensive hands-on experience in performance tuning, data replication, high availability, disaster recovery, and delivering analytics and reporting solutions.
- Proficiency with enterprise monitoring tools such as Oracle OEM, Spotlight, and Grafana.
- Skilled in creating automation solutions using Unix shell scripting, Windows PowerShell, and Ansible.
- Experience in migrating databases to cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile, and high-pressure environments. Capable of managing outages and major incidents effectively.
- Familiar with ITIL standards.
- Solid working knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Windows server environments.
- Desired:
- Strong understanding of Oracle Middleware, WebLogic 12c, and Oracle E-Business Suite.
