General Engineer

About the role

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Fleet Support Team (FST) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the core in-service logistics and engineering products and services produced by a Fleet Support Team; 2) Displaying the ability to effectively operate within a command's financial system; 3) Managing financial and personnel resources for a large multidisciplinary team; 4) Managing assigned program to assure products and services are delivered on schedule, within budgeted cost, and performed according to documented technical requirements; 5) Resolving issues affecting achievement of technical performance that impact schedule or cost.
