Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for sanding by cleaning, leveling, and repairing imperfections.
- Remove debris, adhesives, or coatings from the surface to ensure a smooth and even finish.
- Set up and operate sanding equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect surfaces during and after the sanding process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and address any imperfections, scratches, or inconsistencies in the finish.
- Have a deep understanding of various construction materials and their specific sanding requirements.
- Adapt sanding techniques based on the type of abrasives being used.
