Position Details: Location : Hybrid (10-hour shifts) - Overland Park, KS Required in office 2 days per week, remote 2 days per week Schedules Available : (10-hour shifts) -- Full-time, Nights, 12AM-10:30AM (Weekdays and 1 Sat or Sun per week) -- Full-time, Evenings 2PM-12:30AM (Weekdays and 1 Sat or Sun per week) Compensation : $21.50/hour + Strong Commission (Uncapped Earning Potential) and superior benefits and PTO package Job Summary Join our Afterhours Service Center as a Healthcare Staffing Specialist and play a critical role in keeping healthcare facilities staffed around the clock. As part of our nationwide operations team, you'll support healthcare professionals and clients during evenings, nights, and weekends by responding to staffing needs in real time. This is much more than a customer service role-you'll actively recruit, schedule, and place healthcare professionals into open shifts, solve staffing challenges, and ensure seamless service after our daytime recruiting teams have signed off for the day. Responsibilities
- Healthcare Staffing & Recruiting
- Respond to real-time staffing requests from healthcare facilities across the country.
- Recruit, screen, and communicate with healthcare professionals to fill open shifts and assignments.
- Match clinicians with opportunities based on skills, credentials, availability, and location.
- Support hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities nationwide 24/7
- Contact available healthcare professionals to maximize shift coverage and bookings.
- Proactively work to fill open orders rather than simply documenting requests.
- Client & Candidate Support
- Serve as the primary afterhours contact for healthcare clients and field staff.
- Resolve urgent staffing needs and scheduling changes.
- Assist clinicians with assignment questions, scheduling updates, and employment support.
- Communicate staffing updates with clients while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
- Partner with daytime recruiting teams to ensure smooth handoff of ongoing staffing activities.
- Operations
- Monitor open job orders and prioritize urgent staffing requests.
- Coordinate last-minute call-offs, schedule changes, and replacement coverage.
- Maintain accurate documentation within staffing systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely communication and operational continuity.
- Track productivity and contribute to department performance goals.
Requirements
- Recruiting experience preferred; customer service, staffing, scheduling, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or call center experience also welcomed.
