IKO Industries Ltd. is looking to fill a full-time Production Operator position at our Hamilton - Victoria location. The Production Operator will report to the Operations Manager. Role: Production Operator Starting rate : $29.58 an hour Plant Location: 628 Victoria Ave N Hamilton, ON L8L 8B3 Vacancy Status: Current opening We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools on a limited basis to assist in initial assessment, identification, and review of candidates. Roles and Responsibilities: Monitor loading and off-loading activities of trucks and barges Maintain and inspect equipment Perform daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections Open and close valves to facilitate loading and off-loading activities Use computer system for scaling in trucks General housekeeping and upkeep of site Adhere to all work process and procedures, including safety protocols Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements : High school graduate Able to work rotational shifts (weekdays and weekends) and on-call rotation Experience working in industrial setting, construction, or similar industry preferred Intermediate Microsoft Office Manual dexterity Attention to detail Fluent in verbal and written English
