About this Opportunity Join Wellways as a Wellbeing Worker and play a vital role in delivering our innovative Community Psychosocial Support Program (CPSP) across the Gippsland region. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing intake, assessment, referral, and support coordination services for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. You will undertake needs assessments, screen for NDIS eligibility, manage referrals and waitlists, facilitate access to clinical and community-based services, and deliver capacity-building group activities. Working within a recovery-oriented framework, you will support participants through tailored care planning, active waitlist management, and connection to a range of psychosocial and community supports that promote wellbeing, independence, and housing stability. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for people experiencing mental health challenges. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with NDIS, Gippsland PHN, community organisations, and clinical services.
