Location: Santiago, Chile or Buenos Aires, Argentina What We Can Achieve Together: The Operations Specialist for the Argentina and Southern Andes Business Units is responsible for coordinating a team which delivers administrative support to the TNC staff located throughout Argentina and Chile. The Operations Specialist supervises the operations team in providing guidance to assure strong service delivery to BU teams and rapid advance on projects based on extensive knowledge of internal policies and procedures. They will interpret guidelines and analyze information to achieve results, improve workflow, and solve problems. They will provide recommendations and targeted training related to the areas under management. This role provides support to all levels of staff on HR issues, working closely with the Regional HR Manager and HR team. Additionally, they will work closely with all the functional areas within the region like Legal and IT as well as maintaining relationships with external accountants and attorneys. The Operations Specialist must be comfortable working with ERP systems and resources utilized for the functional activity and will manage confidential information. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations in adapting processes and implement recommended practices in order to improve effectiveness. The Operations Specialist will manage one or more administrative support staff based in different countries. Teams with Finance staff to support annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation. Monitors BU staff timesheet completion in order to avoid financial risks. Manages BU Staff Delegations of Authority in coordination with Legal.
