Xeon Roadmap and Tech Leadership Group in Gdansk, Poland is looking for System and Software Optimization Engineers who will showcase full potential of Xeon CPUs across all these segments and more. Come join us in our Performance and Competition Team, where you will collaborate closely with engineers in US, India, and China, as well as Technical Marketing, Sales, and world class domain experts worldwide. Your colleagues and manager will provide you with support and knowledge to be successful from day one but will also leave you freedom in choosing tools and methods to solve day-to-day challenges. Let's talk technology now. Cloud, containers, virtualization, configuration management, Infrastructure as a Code and scripting will be your bread and butter. You will design, automate, execute, and analyze results of performance tests, often assessing pre-production hardware and using ever-evolving set of tools and workloads. All this, to get reliable power, performance, and competitive data representative of customer use cases. Once gathered, your data will be turned into materials that get published in the tech press or used during Intel events and drive CPU sales. On top of that, your work will enhance the next generation data center products. ...and we will not let you get bored. This role gives opportunities to learn immense breadth of performance and competitive benchmarking, topped up with exposure to most impactful workloads (AI, databases, HPC, media, web and more) executed on virtualized, containerized and cloud environments.
