Job Description: The Sr. Planner Buyer is responsible for on-time delivery of operating units, development and management of standard work for PSI (Production Sales and Inventory) process, Production Level Loading Process & Inventory Management across entire supply chain. Works with Senior Management on customer facing integration projects as part of Customer Supply Chain Management team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Determine level load production run rates for assigned value streams based on PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory) conditions to meet financial goals. Works closely with manufacturing sites and supplies to prioritize, expedite and de-expedite work orders and purchase orders based on material availability, department resources, changing requirements and customer service requirements. Works with Manufacturing sister Inter-companies to communicate production level loading manufacturing run rates in advance of customer demand. Works with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Planning teams on product portfolio rationalization projects. Manage Inventory Management (IMAG) & Live DIVE Process working to optimize Inventory capital turns, inventory levels to free up cash flow. Lead Improvement in Scrap & E&O (Excess and Obsolescence) Key performance indicators using our PSI & Manufacturing level loading processes. Level 2 & 3 Policy Deployment responsibility for OTD - On Time Delivery Bowler with Root Cause Countermeasures using PSP (Problem Solving Process). Manage, monitor and update Kanban for assigned value streams and production cells. Lead EMS's and E-Kanban implementation, including calculation of the bin quantity and size, coordinating supplier requirements and daily management requirements. Analyzes production plans and plant capacity, lead times, safety stocks and lot sizes to determinate resource requirements and constraints. Lead PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory) process for entire Kerr Business in EMEA region (Europe, ROW, MEAT). Releases and manages Inter-Company Requisitions in accordance with MRP, Kanban signals, production plan goals and related planning data as need it. Places and manages purchases orders in accordance with MRP, Kanban signals, production plan goals and related planning data as need it. Develop short- and long-term unit and dollar inventory projections at the raw, sub-assembly, WIP and finished good levels. Monitors and understands key planning parameters such as safety stocks, buffer stocks and lot sizes. Manage special projects related to material planning, purchasing, system changes and inventory management. Travels up to 10% domestically and potentially internationally. Job Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field APICS Certification preferred 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment, including working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP Skills and Abilities: Detail‑oriented with strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of MRP, CRP, MPS, pull systems, MRP horizontal planning, AMU, and projected balance calculations. Ability to clearly communicate analysis and insights in a clear, organized manner, both verbally and in writing (English language) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to stay organized to meet deadlines Strong sense of urgency with intellectual curiosity and ambition to grow your career with a global company Willing to pursue and close out (Master Black Belt) MBB for Envista Materials Process (EMS), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Transactional Process Improvement (TPI), Problem Solving Process (PSP).
