About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes: AP, AR, GL, FA, and Intercompany.

- Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and settlements.
- Support audits and act as key accounting escalation point.

- Partner with global stakeholders and support transition initiatives.
- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support finance transformation and migration activities as required.
- Identify control gaps and drive remediation actions.
- What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance - Required.
- 10-15 years of accounting experience; 5+ years in people management.
- Strong exposure to shared services and global finance operations.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP ERPs (SAP4 preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; exposure to automation tools is a plus.
- Bonus Points if You Have
- Master's degree or higher accounting qualification would be a distinct advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience working in SAP.
- Prior experience of working in shared services / BPO industry would be a plus.
- Excellent MS office suite skills (Excel, PPT, Word).
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Attention to detail, analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively work across functional boundaries to bring tasks to successful conclusion.
- What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel internationally occasionally if required.
- Be willing to work in an office; this role is eligible to work remotely up to full-time with occasional trips into the Shared Services office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice).
