Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate and liaise with suppliers to obtain quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Process RFQs, review quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in a timely manner and follow up on order status and deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure sufficient stock for operational and project requirements.
- Verify supplier invoices against supporting documents (PR, PO, DO) and submit approved invoices to Finance for payment processing.
- Coordinate logistics, shipment arrangements, and delivery of goods from local and overseas suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation in compliance with company procedures and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
- Requirement
- Minimum Diploma qualification or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the Construction or Engineering industry.
- Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement-related systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
