Future Standard is seeking an Associate to join the Firm's Primary Fund Investment Team. This team represents the Firm's longest-standing strategy (established in 1994) and serves as the foundation of its middle-market, sponsor-focused investment platform, with integrated capabilities across primaries, direct equity, secondaries (LP- and GP-led), and credit. The Firm maintains relationships with over 200 sponsors and commits to 40-50 funds annually, representing approximately $2 billion in capital commitments each year. As a key member of the team, the Associate will support the construction and management of commingled and separate account portfolios. This role involves active participation in investment due diligence, performance monitoring, and sourcing opportunities across fund investment opportunities in Europe. The position offers meaningful exposure to the institutional investment management industry, including buyout, venture/growth equity, and special situations, across both established and emerging managers. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS EXPECTED TO: - Proactively research, source and evaluate private equity fund opportunities using internal systems, industry databases, and sponsor relationships. - Support the investment team in all aspects of the investment process, including data collection, analysis, and due diligence on inbound and outbound fund opportunities and prospective and existing fund managers. - Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess investment opportunities. - Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and client portfolios. - Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to ongoing manager evaluation. - Partner with advisory clients to execute investment strategies and asset allocation objectives. - Build and maintain sponsor relationships to source co-investment, secondary, and credit opportunities. - Support marketing and client engagement efforts for commingled funds and separate accounts.
