Mortgage Loan Processor (Client-Facing)

Responsibilities

• Manage residential loan files from application through closing
• Collect, review, and verify borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate directly with clients to request documents and provide status updates
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and third parties to move files forward efficiently
• Ensure files meet compliance guidelines and submission standards
• Maintain organized digital records and consistently update CRM/loan systems
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact closing timelines
• Required Qualifications
• Experience in loan processing, mortgage support, or a similar administrative/client-facing role
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines simultaneously
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Prior remote work experience is mandatory . Candidates must be fluent with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or similar) and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

• Experience in real estate, mortgage lending, or home loan processing
• Spanish language proficiency (spoken and written)

• Familiarity with US mortgage documentation and lending terminology
