Hachette Book Group's summer internship program offers students an opportunity to learn about the publishing industry and explore an area of interest. To learn more about the company, visit our career site: https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/about/careers/ Program dates : June 2nd, 2025 - End date: August 7th, 2025 Location: Hybrid (three days per week on-site (Tu-Thurs) in our NYC office with one day remote). Company laptop will be provided for the duration of the program. Weekly schedule : 28 hours per week, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Pay rate : $16.50/hour As an HBG Editorial Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, help with special projects, and attend departmental meetings. To enhance your work experience, we offer educational sessions featuring speakers from all departments of the company as well as networking and career development opportunities. It would be ideal to have a candidate interested in the editorial and production work of an illustrated book publisher. A person who enjoys lifestyle books (i.e., cookbooks, design books, sports, pop culture, etc.) is a plus. The candidate should be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment and juggle multiple tasks at one time. Required knowledge of the Office suite of programs.
