Responsibilities

  • Experience in a senior or lead engineering role within aerospace or another highly regulated industry
  • Strong technical expertise in a relevant discipline such as mechanical, hydraulic systems, actuation, stress, or design
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex engineering programmes
  • Experience acting as a technical authority with customer-facing responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of new product development lifecycles, from concept to certification and production
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engineering projects within budget and schedule constraints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex technical challenges
  • Knowledge of aerospace regulations, airworthiness requirements, and certification processes
  • Experience with engineering documentation, including technical reports, specifications, and drawings
  • Familiarity with MRB and Engineering Order processes (desirable)
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering teams
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial functions
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance business needs and engineering integrity
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience enhancing engineering processes
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
