As our Machine Learning Engineer , you will be a crucial team member and will develop algorithms for medical imaging applications. You will work closely with other machine learning engineers to develop biomarkers for Computed Tomography images, with software engineers to deploy the models on the cloud infrastructure, and with clinical specialists to validate the algorithms. We are looking for someone who is inquisitive and eager to learn, to build AI powered medical devices that will bring positive change in the world. Key Responsibilities Work with other Machine Learning Engineers to develop and maintain algorithms for stroke diagnosis, primarily on Computed Tomography images Research the literature, implement and modify deep learning and computer vision algorithms based on product requirements Collaborate with backend/cloud engineers to bring ML models into production on GCP/AWS Unit test development Design, implement, and test complex data pipelines to support training and validation of algorithms Create technical documentation about the algorithms and design intuitions Analyze and collect insights from the complex medical data Qualifications Good Python development skills, and scientific Python stack, i.e. Numpy and Scipy 0-2 years of experience with deep learning for computer vision PhD required (PhD student at least) Hand-on experience with machine learning frameworks, like PyTorch Experience with 2D and 3D object detection Experience with building deep learning products and deploying them Experience with reinforcement learning for computer vision and NLP Experience with Docker Knowledge of DICOM protocol Experience with SimpleITK Experience with public cloud, i.e. GCP and AWS We Offer You Chance to make a real difference in patients' lives Work in a stimulating environment with a motivated team Flexible Employment Agreement: Part time / Fulltime / Freelance Flexible working hours Laptop + home office/IT equipment* Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)* Corporate programs including Employee Referral Program with rewards Learning & Development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and over 22,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more. *All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements Application Process Interview with Recruiter/HR Interview with Hiring Manager Technical assessment with Peers (no managers present) Prior employment verification check (reference/background check) Interview with Executive
