Project Engineer (acmv)

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise ACMV installation and commissioning works.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements and authorities' regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and work schedules.
• Monitor site progress, quality of workmanship, and resolve technical or site issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements (e.g. BCA, NEA, SCDF).
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Manage documentation such as material submissions, inspection reports, test reports, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in testing and commissioning (T&C) of ACMV systems (chillers, AHU, FCU, ducting, ventilation fans, etc.).
• Support procurement and material control for mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support to site teams and ensure timely completion within budget and schedule.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in ACMV or M&E projects (commercial, industrial, or institutional).
• Familiar with ACMV systems design, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of Singapore regulations and codes of practice (SS553, CP13, BCA, SCDF, etc.).
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Additional Advantages:
• Experience with green building (BCA Green Mark) or energy efficiency systems.
• Class 3 driving license.
• Familiar with BIM/Revit MEP software.
