About the role

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Hughes Hall is a College of the University of Cambridge with a vibrant, international and inclusive community. We are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, with major developments across our estate, systems and operations. This is a varied and demanding role supporting the Bursar in both the effective day to day management of the College and delivery of our transformation programme. The role The role combines high-level administrative support with project coordination, data analysis and operational improvement. The postholder will play a key role in enabling effective decision-making, coordinating governance processes and supporting the delivery of priorities across the College. Alongside managing key administrative processes and committee support, the role will involve contributing to a range of projects and workstreams. This may include analysing data, coordinating surveys, tracking delivery against plans and producing clear, high-quality reports to inform decisions. We are looking for someone who is curious, adaptable and proactive, with strong judgement and a willingness to engage with new areas of work. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with data and systems, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and motivated to contribute to improving how the College operates.
