Senior Product Manager, CoStar

Responsibilities

• Leverage customer feedback, market insights, and internal stakeholder input to deliver practical, yet impact ful product improvements that enhance the CoStar customer experience and make our products easier to use.
• Own and manage defined components of the product roadmap, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing existing feature sets and delivering incremental improvements.
• Drive product releases in a fast - paced Agile software development environment, including writing user stories, prioritizing backlog items, supporting release planning, and creating release notes.
• Serve as a key point of contact for inbound product feedback from Sales, Customer Service, and clients; translate real - world use cases into clear requirements for Engineering.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design , QA, Sales, and Analytics teams to scope, plan, and deliver enhancements that address customer needs and business priorities.
• Understand, document, and analyze customer workflows and pain points to develop actionable use cases and improvement opportunities.
• Support user testing efforts, gather feedback, and help translate insights into prioritized development work.
• Plan and execute feature releases to a large subscriber base, ensuring clear communication and alignment across internal teams.
• Use customer data, usage metrics, and qualitative feedback to inform prioritization decisions and evaluate product outcomes.
• Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university of college
• A demonstrated track record of ownership, reliability, and success in prior roles
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or a related role, with exposure to software or data driven products
• Commercial Real Estate experience
• Experience defining product requirements and delivering feature enhancements in partnership with Engineering teams
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments, including backlog management and sprint planning
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working with SaaS, data, analytics, or information products that support business decision - making
• A track record of commitment to prior employers

Requirements

• This position is in Richmond , VA and is in office Monday through Friday.
• Experience managing high - volume inbound product feedback or enhancement requests
• Background partnering closely with Sales and Customer Service to capture and document customer needs
• Experience owning or maintaining existing product features, including incremental improvements
• Comfort working in distributed, cross functional environments across multiple teams and locations
