Offered Position: Principal Software Dev Eng Job Location: Cupertino, California Job Number: AMZ9698082 Position Responsibilities: Act as a technical advisor and define technical vision for silicon architecture to provide hardware acceleration to AWS networking protocols used in AWS cloud. Design, implement, and deliver register transfer level (RTL) software and architectural documents for ambiguous and complex problems pertaining to Nitro silicon use cases such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) flows for both P-type instances and Trainium instances. Influence the team's technical and business direction by making insightful contributions to team priorities and approach to improve the AWS cloud networking performance. Design and develop complex software and hardware interactive solutions, and advise senior leadership on technical opportunities and pitfalls to ensure long-term rapid delivery to AWS customers. Engage with internal and external teams to help resolve ambiguities, address efforts prioritization, and eliminate blockers while working on the projects requiring joint efforts as well as adoption of new technologies. Influence the development and adoption of various systems and processes to maintain and improve operational efficiency of both existing and upcoming systems. Mentor junior engineers. 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $264,514/year to $311,200/year. Amazon is a total compensation company.
