About the Role We are recruiting a Graduate Trainee Support Assistant. This is a fixed term post in the Library finishing at the end of July 2027. The post is especially suitable for graduates wishing to gain library experience before undertaking a postgraduate course in Librarianship/Information Studies or for recent graduates of such courses seeking to specialise in art librarianship. As a member of the Library team you will provide support for the services we provide, including: Assisting Courtauld members and visitors to make the best use of the Library. Helping to teach students various strategies for finding books, articles, and images. Helping to administer Inter Library Loans and retrieval of material in remote storage. Assisting with the validation of data in the Courtauld's research repository, Pure. About You You will have excellent customer service skills as well as administrative experience and confident in the use of IT and AV technology. You will have strong communication skills as you will be working with a wide range of people at all levels. Organisational skills are essential in order to prioritise multiple tasks and in a rapidly changing environment it is important that you have the flexibility to acquire the new skills rapidly. You will have worked successfully in teams as well as being able to demonstrate self-assured independence when required in order to meet deadlines.
