Responsibilities

  • This is a hands-on role where quality workmanship, customer care and health & safety compliance are essential. You will work both independently and alongside other trade engineers to deliver high standards of service.
  • Undertake works relating to your primary trade (Carpentry) and associated multi-skilled tasks
  • Carry out repairs, installations and refurbishments within void kitchens and bathrooms
  • Ensure all works meet regulatory, compliance and Health & Safety requirements
  • Manage company equipment, materials and van stock in line with procedures
  • Participate in emergency call-out rota (where applicable)
  • Work flexibly between 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday
  • Qualifications and experience:
  • Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
  • Advanced Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry
  • CSCS Card (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven ability in all aspects of Carpentry, including fault diagnosis
  • Experience working within social housing (desirable)
