Position Summary Material Handler V (Lead) provides guidance, support, and motivation to their team. They delegate and coordinate tasks and oversee the activities of their department. They manage conflict, monitor processes, represent their team, and assign personnel accordingly to make sure tasks are performed accurately and on time. Additional Responsibilities: Responsible for physically loading and unloading packages and parts by hand, including placing, pushing, lifting, carrying, and pulling the item in an efficient and safe manner. Must be able to operate a pallet jack and use safe package moving and handling techniques to help employees and minimize the risk of injuries. Material handlers will process parts for various platforms accurately and efficiently ensuring all parts/item quantities are correctly verified physically and systemically. Be able to use a computer and have knowledge of basic programs with the ability to use a handheld scanner and tote printer. Communicating with fellow employees and supervisors. A material handler must have strong interpersonal skills. Handling goods and documents in a busy warehouse setting. Communicate efficiently with fellow workers, supervisors, and other members of the team. Well versed with automated and manual packaging machines. Moving and storing materials and products. Installing heavy parts on to games to be staged for the production line. Basic knowledge of and can navigate through a wireless handheld scanner. Ability to use a desktop computer to complete necessary transactions. Ensure items received are the correct part number and quantity required on the Bill of Material. Communicate via company email. Physically and systemically pick items. Scan serialized items. Create and affix labels using Zebra printer. Perform all required functions in WM system as trained. Complies with company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. Ability and availability to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand. Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies.
