About the role

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the COMMAND ADVISORY BRANCH of COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE. SALARY RANGES: GS-9: $64,438 - $83,774 GS-7: $52,680 - $68,485 GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying knowledge of human resources concepts or policies to advise on recruitment issues (e.g. providing advice to managers on a variety of recruiting authorities, advising managers and command personnel on the hiring process, utilizing electronic personnel databases, systems OR reports to extract or analyze data to provide to management, etc.). GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with human resources issues in accordance with regulations and procedures (e.g. reviewing actions for accuracy and completeness, responding to human resources questions, referencing human resources materials such as manuals and regulations, etc.).
